Came across a video about this dude on youtube. Pretty fascinating stuff.

Higher IQ than Einstein and Isaac Newton.

Langan has developed a "theory of the relationship between mind and reality" which he calls the "Cognitive-Theoretic Model of the Universe" (CTMU). Influenced by the works of John Archibald Wheeler and Stephen Hawking among others, the work's central thesis is that reality is a self-processing, self-referential language, embodying a dual aspect monism and consisting of "infocognition", or information that resides in "syntactic operators" within reality.

I read an interview with this guy in Flex magazine years and years ago and thought it was all bs, and a promotion of the "everyday genious". Guess not.

I think he spends part of his days taking care of animals now.
 
He might have a higher IQ than Einstein and Newton but he will never be an Einstein or a Newton

You're probably right. Seems like he hasn't invested as much time in his intellectual pursuits as others have.

Seems like compassion for animals is positively correlated with intelligence. Even high IQ genocidal bastards love their pets
 
I don't believe Einstein nor Newton had their IQ measured, so it's pretty TMZ to be saying that he's got a higher IQ than them.

He might have though, and I like the concept of IQ, as mine has been measured to be 152.
 
I read about his work awhile back. He is not taken seriously by physicists from what I heard

I think their IQ's are estimates generated from extensive study of their work and cognitive ability.
 
But did he get jacked with 20lb dumbbells?
 
I have heard he sometimes posts online under the name snakedafunky.

Pretty sure we had a thread on here once that linked to a massive internet battle he had with some critics.

Was entertaining at the time, but I remember neither heads nor tails of it now.

I've heard stories of those super high IQ guys being incredibly productive on their own time, despite the lack of formal credentials.
 
He says big headed people are smarter.

I’m sure he would have a great conversation with Rogaine along the lines of Murko’s small jaw and weak chin.
