Media Europeans watching UFC Live

It's the same for Americans watching Moto-GP. 4am starts for the Euro races.

For me it's no problem to stay awake.
Before covid i used to work as a bouncer, i am used to go to bed around 7am.

So... just like how Americans had to watch Pride / K1 / Dream / Sengoku ... or Rizin / One.

I torrent the card the next day and completely avoid social media and Sherdog until then. Not only it's more comfortable, but that way I can also skip the bad fights and all the down-time.

Pro tip : use Bing to look for torrents. Google gets copyright complaints and filters the results, while Bing doesn't since it's mostly used by old people who don't even know what a torrent is.

Edit : I do pay for FightPass though. I have no problem paying money to watch MMA, but the price for each PPV is completely fucked-up and it doesn't fit at all with the French standards for watching sports on TV.
PPVs are included with FightPass if you're in France, wtf ?

stayed wake up couple of times but since couple of years not anymore.
Watch the fights on the next day, i watch out not to witness a spoiler.

Almost never watch it live, usually this will be on the next morning without checking the phone before that.

Most of us Sherdoggers are 6'5 and ripped
USA are mostly under 6'0 and obese

Of course we are mostly Europeans

No, they aren't, you don't get the main cards of the PPV. And anyway, those Fight Pass retards put spoilers everywhere, so even if that was the case, I'd still torrent.

Yes they are, man. They have been for at least 1 solid year, maybe 2. I've had Fight Pass since it came out. At first PPVs were charged 20 euros or something (could go up to 30 euros for the biggest PPVs), then for a while the ppvs were completely blacked out of the region. And now you can watch them just how you would watch prelims and free cards, live or replay

I watch on DAZN in Germany and so far it's been OK. Do you get life fights on UFC fight pass in France?

The main card usually starts at 4-5am here so its really not that bad just drink enough previous night and pass out at 8 pm and you good to go

This, honestly just set an alarm and wake up at 4am. Used to do that daily for a job. Its not that hard to wake up early

I also recommend watchwrestling .io
It's up in the morning even faster than torrents, you don't have to download, and it's fragmented in 10 parts so you don't have the spoilers of how much time is left

Ha ha, that was always my biggets issue when finding heavily discounted links. Now I have pay for DAZN so no more of that problem.

On topic: unless it's a Dubai / Euro card I always watch on Sunday, either with morning coffee or later in the day. I have a small child so it's a poor choice to stay awake until 5 and whatnot.

I enjoy staying up late for a fight. I only fell asleep on the UFC229 card, at that time I was getting my masters and working at the same time. Luckily, I woke up during the walk in of Khabib. Phew, almost missed on the biggest fight ever over an insignificant affair known as sleep.

Last time I tried to stay awake for a fight it was a long time ago. We passed out drinking vodka and woke up when Fedor walked away from an unconscious Arlovski. FUck that.

Usually set an alarm for 3-4am to catch the main card and watch undercard at my leisure.

Loved the UAE cards as the time slots worked perfect for me, there was no such thing when I started watching the UFC so it's never really bothered me.

In total honesty it feel's kind of exclusive to watch the fight's live at silly o'clock when most guys I work with are catching Z's and scratching their arse's.

Thanks, I was so used to it that I didn't realize that. Do they still put spoilers with pictures from the press conference? That's why I didn't check if things changed, they started doing that around the Cowboy vs Conor fight, where I had a big picture of a smiling and unscathed McGregor welcoming me before I could see anything else...

It’s an AMERICAN organization, deal with it. Be content with the scraps the UFC feeds you with Euro cards.

You don’t hear me complaining about Champions League game times.

We do get all the live fights, I just didn't realize that the PPV main cards are free now. My other problem was that they immediately put spoilers once the press conference is over, so even if I watched on Sunday morning there'd already a picture of who won the main event.

Nobody is asking for a different air time, I just wish they waited at least 24 hours before putting spoilers, especially since they know who is watching from where.
