To be fair it's pretty confusing. If you consider that technically, the only two countries in the British isles are The Republic of Ireland and The United Kingdom, and that Wales, Scotland, England and Northern Ireland are principalities of the United Kingdom- It can get even more confusing. So much so that most of the people here don't fully understand it.
