As a Welshman, when the group was announced, I fancied 4 points. 3 off Slovakia, 0 off England, at least 1 off Russia. We're still on for that, so I cant be too disappointed.


England were by far the better team but we did all I could ask of us – defended like dogs, got stuck in and made them work for their 3 points. It's the first time in my lifetime I've seen Wales in a tournament so I'm enjoying every second of it. As long as we get through the group. If we finish second, we'll face the 2nd place team from group F (probably Austria, Hungary or Iceland) and all of those are a coin-flip. We could even find ourselves in the final 8 which was a pipedream before the tournament began.



Props to England, but proud of our effort.



Ukraine 1 – 0 Northern Ireland and I'm taking Poland to at least get a draw with Germany.

Works in Rugby, not in football. Not 100% sure why. Shame, really.

Guess you could ask why we don't play as GB+NI, instead of the Home Nations, but frankly, the times we have, we've been complete gash.
