I'm sure they've crunched the numbers, but this seems so stupid to me.
70 bucks American is too much to watch a sports event. Given covid restrictions on having people come to your house, you can't even split such a ridiculous cost with other people.
I guess it's just a mathematical formula. If they were to slash the cost of a ppv, a lot of us could afford to buy kt instead of streaming it and paying 0. But there must be a huge chunk of people who will always buy the paperviews no matter what. As I say, they must have crunched the numbers and they must figure to make way more money this way.
Maybe I'm wrong about lowered cost ppv bringing in legitimate buys. Maybe the majority of viewers wouldn't even pay 10 bucks, so they figure might as well milk all they can from those who refuse to watch illegal streams.
Is the crack website still down? Maybe this is all part of the plan. I couldn't believe how easy it's gotten to find a high quality stream - just googling would tske you to crack streams. But is it gone? Is there an alternative?
