Fuck ESPN and their commercial breaks.

One of the great things about watching a fight is seeing how the corners react after each round. Especially in a very intense fight.

Nothing more annoying than seeing a great fight and then one of the fuckhead commentators say “be right back for a commercial break”.

I’m paying you motherfuckers every month and you’re going to cut out an integral part of the fight so you can show me a commercial about tampons.

Go fuck yourself ESPN.

Don’t know what it’s like in USA or UK, but in Australia the ads have been cutting into the rounds. Last week there was a fight and the ads went for so long that when they cut back to the UFC, 2 minutes had passed in the round.

you know what happens when they start showing the corner more? you got the corner men thinking they are a part of the show and deserve more money is probably where the bald weirdos head is at lol
Lmao the UFC doesn't pay the corners

Gotta love so-called first world nations turning communist while also ramping up capitalism so we get the worst aspects of both.

When I used to stream stuff, I'd always be taken aback my American adverts. UK ain't far behind, but one that always sticks in my head is the Burger King (i think) advert that had a song that ended with the phrase 'YOU RULE!'

I don't know what part of buying cheap processed fast food makes one rule, but I'd love to know the advertising agency's workings for how they ended up deciding telling obese people that they somehow rule. Especially when it's followed by several adverts starting "did you take xxxxx medication? You could be entitled to compensation!'. They didn't follow that advert with 'you rule'

It is damn sad that we don’t get to see both corners fully between rounds.

Agreed with you Randy Fanders. The ads are too much and I hate the ads for drugs/medicines, and in the small print it says "can cause death" its absoutley ridiculous they are allowed to promote that

Anyway I find it odd that the same day I make this thread someone else makes a separate thread about ESPN's commercial breaks instead of posting in mine. What are the chances?

It seems other people's ad experience with ESPN has been a lot different than mine. I've noticed fewer ads or ad breaks the last two weeks with ESPN editing out the time between rounds. Of course they can't do that if you're watching it live.

I've said repeatedly that the US is the only nation on the planet that allows big pharma ads on TV. New Zealand is the only other nation that allows big pharma to market directly to the public at all.
