Been a while since I’ve seen Verdejo. I remember HBO backing him as some new star but he always seemed fairly underwhelming. Looks like much hasn’t changed.

I gotta say, I'm a lot more sold on wilder these days than in the past....i think he's becoming a more complete fighter. he's never gonna be willie pep, but he can be sandy saddler.

Verdejo was very active in the later rounds and kept his speed as well and jab looked really good, other than that the guy he fought was stopped by Andy Vences in 2 rounds, so...
