Of course I wouldn't say the same about religion (though Kirk himself would) but that's a terrible analogy. Erika Kirk is not some unrelated copractioner on the other side of the globe with no connection to Charlie and his org, she was his wife and now the CEO of Turning Point USA.

If Mohamed Morsi's wife took a leadership position in the Muslim Brotherhood after he died in prison somehow I don't think everyone ITT arguing Erika should be above reproach would feel the same in that instance.

I worked in hospitals during Covid. There were no ice truck makeshift morgues. Jesus Christ. People are still saying this????

There were makeshift ICU’s in other parts of the hospitals though that weren’t previously used for that. After the second wave of COVID that stopped tough. I’m not downplaying the official death toll because it was like nothing we’ve seen in our lifetimes, but the media gaslighted the fuck out of you if you still think there were makeshift morgues.

We were all doing double shifts, not just the nurses. A lot of people were also furloughed because surgeries stopped that weren’t considered “medically necessary”. A lot of people died from acute on chronic conditions due to care lacking in other departments. Those were corporate decisions not individual employee choices. There were plenty of us willing to risk ourselves and work in the hospital where we were needed as well as the outpatient clinics that basically just stopped seeing people minus tele health . It was fucking bullshit and horribly planned response. Thats money and politics deciding that.
