Erick "GOAT" Silva Making LFA Debut

Odd that LFA would be interested since they mostly sign up & coming prospects or lower level journeymen who aspire to get to the UFC for the first time. I figured that a veteran like Silva would end up getting signed by Bellator or ACB or taking good paying fights in KSW or Rizin like a lot of other UFC vets with a half-decent name.

What exactly would you call erick silva if not an up and coming prospect?

whats up with the ufc releasing prospects first Yair now Silva

Absolutely appalling, ufc releasing prospects without good reason.

People make jokes about Silva because an old thread about him being a prospect at 31 but if he improved the way guys like T-wood and Yoel did between 31-36 then he could have been top 5.

He needs to spend 10-15 years developing HGH body

Young, tremendous heart, solid chin, classy sportsmanship. Boy has all the potential in the world, no idea why they would let a hungry lion like that go after a small setback.

Been following this strapping yound lad's career for quite a while. Kid's gonna make some huge waves in the future, I'm telling you.

FTFY

they didn't even give him a chance, why the fuck would you get rid of the brightest prospect we've seen since sage.

I think this is a good move. This is exactly what I wanted the ufc to do with Silva. Hes going to go back to the regional circuit to rebuild his confidence. After a few years he will be back in the ufc chasing gold

Memes aside, Silva is a veteran with an up & down record in his mid-30s who could probably parlay his former UFC fighter status into some decent paydays far exceeding what LFA is paying him in Bellator or in main or co-main events on the international scene taking on the local Pole in KSW or Japanese or Brazilian opponent in Rizin.

I think Silver has had more than enough time to prove himself..but yet has failed to do so...losing every big opportunity he's ever had...I think it's time for him to move on to a lower org.

Your obviously out of the loop....

This is complete sarcasm everyone here knows he isn't great it's a joke because that's the way UFC would talk of him.
