Crime Eric Clanton, Antifa "Professor Bike Lock" Attacker Arrested!

Disturbing the peace for either throwing or swinging large glass bottles at people? I'm sure at the least that's brandishing a weapon, if she connected with anyone she's culpable for assault with a deadly weapon.

And to not spend ten seconds googling a topic to only come online and white knight for someone is a big part of the problem with the liberal BS side
Do you have video of her throwing the bottle?

Did you guys know that Tim Kaine's son (Kaine was Hillary's choice for VP) was also part of Antifa and was just arrested for attacking a pro-Trump rally? Someone in the group also threw a smoke bomb.

Yes, the bike lock order was widely reported as "evidence", when it fact it was /pol trolling.

Here's the complaint filed by the ADA:

http://www.berkeleyside.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/05/ClantonComplaint-and-PC-Dec.pdf

5 counts, 4 felony and 1 misdemeanor.

I don't know how many U-locks you personally keep around the house Rupert, but perhaps he just collects them. Also looks like they got the right guy, I'm glad you're not in charge of our law enforcement or you'd be waiting for him to turn himself in.

IO went about this the right way. Reviewed the overwhelming amount of circumstantial evidence. Checked phone records to see if he was in the area before he proceeded. Interviewed work colleagues, contacted by Clantons lawyer, checked previous criminal history before getting a search warrant.

Dude must want to go to jail keeping those photos and the clothing.

The story was straight up bullshit. /pol sent the locks to his house as a troll. It was after the Berkley protest. Fact checking... something the legal system does and online bandwagons don't give a shit about.

I don't know why people are defending lawbreakers on either side.

Violent protesters and violent counter-protesters deserve the same cell.

How did you fact check that?

Can't wait til Milo's free speech week to see ANTIFA get Trumpled again.

How did you fact check that?

I checked the tweet which originated the story (it's since been deleted and the account suspended).
It had the order pictured and they weren't even claiming that it was ordered by this guy. The order was from April 20th and the protest was on April 15th. The story was distorted by social media rumours.
The rumours started the day of the tweet, so there's really no excuse.

Do you have video of her throwing the bottle?
There's witness accounts that state she was throwing bottles, video of her pulling bottles out of her bag and evidence of her trying to swing one at the manlet who punched her.
The clear video of their "second" encounter, I say second in quotes because his and his compadres say she was throwing bottles all day, so who knows how many times they crossed paths, shows her minus facial coverings, she had them before when she was actively swinging a bottle at him.
She, and all her antifa friends are pieces of work. The real story out of all the 'battles of berkeley' should be the police standing down because the mayor shows support for antifa

Those nerds have pretty crazy electronic detective skills. Didn't they find Shia Leboef's "secret location" in bumfuck, Tennessee by checking contrails and flight times, then finding a diner, then had a guy honk his horn around the area until it was audible on the stream, then found the "he will not divide us" flag in a field and replaced it with a MAGA tee-shirt?

On a side note, why the hell do so many liberal arts professors have ponytails and earrings in their 40s and 50s? One of the few professions where most of the people are in a complete state of arrested development.

Starts about 6:44 if it doesn't work.

No is a much shorter and more accurate answer.

Which still keeps video evidence of her swinging around a weapon, which even in liberal 'equal force for sef defense' states means mr 'white supremesist' is within his rights to punch a weapon yielding person.

So you put two and two together from the best evidence you had available at hand and came to the conclusion that it is fake, perfectly reasonable.

It's also the same thing that /pol/ did when they tracked down Clanton.

There is a video somewhere. She throws a bottle and runs back to her antifa friends. You can't see much, but you can recognize the dreadlocks.
Then there is the picture of her with a bottle in hand getting punched.

I will not post the video because I'm not willing to search through hours of video to find it. It's meaningless anyway, she had a bottle in hand when the guy first punched her. Then he punched her again. That second punch might be a mistake but I really doubt she will get anywhere if she presses charges.

Not quite. Although thankfully it looks like they've gotten the right guy, there's a big difference between spreading accusations and debunking lies.
This case got a lot of mileage because of the politics, but the number of chain posts I've seen telling some completely unverifiable story, making accusations while hiding behind anonymity, sickens me.
People that mindlessly cut and paste stuff like that without fact checking are scum.
