Enough is enough. Dana needs to step down as president of the UFC.

I'm am sick...........

UFC - and MMA in general - is more popular now than ever before. As a true MMA fan (and I don't mean that in a pretentious or arrogant type of way) I should be happy that more people are enjoy this beautiful sport.

However, as you can see, this is not the case. Writing this with a heavy heart and a clenched fist, I regret to say it but I think I might be done. Dana's crusade to casualize the UFC has gone too far.

Where do I begin?

Let's start with the atrocious (really bad) matchmaking. I've lost count of how many BS championship fights we received the past year. Sean O'Malley x Cheato, Jonny Meat x Stipe, Potent x Roundtree, Leon x Colby, DDP x Adesanya.... The list goes on. So much wasted time and so many wasted opportunities. I'm always left waiting for the next championship bout so I can finally see the best two fighters face off.

Then we have the two graveyard divisions: LHW and HW. The year is almost 2025 and we are still yet to see Potent face a decent wrestler. Anthony Smith and the Black Blubber are still top 10 fighters. We just witnessed Jonny Meat beat a 42 year old man who hasn't won a fight since 2020 - and that was the championship fight for the HW belt. Let that sink in.

I miss the days when the UFC wasn't so political. Dana inviting Trump and his goons to every fight so fighters can publicly kiss his ass and worship him like the second coming of Christ is too cringe inducing for me to handle.

Jonny Meat used to have so much aura back in the day ('hey pussy, are you still there''?). He lost it all the moment he started dancing and kissing Trump's ass after beating a 42 year old man. Personally, I think he should have dedicated that moment to his kids and wife.

I think if Tommy boy wants to fight Jonny, he should shave that stupid musketeer beard. Hide the tatts and get some vitamin D. No offence but who would want Aspinall as the face of the UFC? Zero marketability.

I hate to bring this up but we need to talk about Khabib's brothers. I have nothing but respect for these backwards cavemen but I just wish they wouldn't fight so infrequently. I guess we will see Khamzat again at the tail end of 2025. Maybe Islam will rematch Dan Hooker after he's done rematching Arman?

The Sphere completely flopped. And why was it a Mexican fighter only thing?

I can go on but I think that's enough for now. I apologize for the rant but I had to get these things off my chest.

I'm waiting for the day Dana steps down as president (or he's fired). The integrity of the sport is in shatters but his bosses won't care because profits are up.
Dana's resignation has been overdue by about 15 years to be honest.

No, you need a guy like Dana White to run the UFC. That’s the reality of it.
Not anymore, the UFC is bigger than any one person now. All Dana does is make bad decisions after bad decisions (slap fighting, shitting on his own fighters for petty reasons). Dana is a detriment at this point.

So Fedor beat 2, Light Heavyweight’s, LOL. Jon Jones smashing Stipe trumps all 3 of these wins you speak of and TiM Johnson was not ranked, Jesus Christ.

Let it go, Fedor was good but he fought a lot of cans, you know it, I know it. Everyone here knows it. They just are to prideful to admit it. He’s one of the more overrated fighters ever.
Keep deluding yourself beating Stipe 3 years ago would have meant something but after 3 years of being inactive, I think it speaks for itself.

What 2 lhw are you talking about because if its Arona well Fedor is basically close enough in height and weight, plus Stipe fought Maldonado in UFC if you don't remember. Jones is a 2 time cheat and was gifted decisions against Gus the first time and Reyes also it can be argued he lost to Santos or at the very least it was a draw, point is the guy is/was a hack that only cared about staying undefeated rather than taking the toughest fights example ducking Aspinall in favor of inactive Stipe and now avoiding Tom to face smaller Poatan and everyone can see this.

Power Slap failing and being treated as a joke, should be enough to tell you about Dana White's ability to actually promote a sport... and his business capabilities minus Lorenzo.

MMA was always going to grow. Dana and his mafia friends used gang tactics to get Zuffa to where it was. This is why they just paid $300million+ in damages for the antitrust lawsuit.

It is much harder to do today with so many eyes on them... but Dana still finds a way to get away with it. He was caught slapping his wife on camera and that didn't affect nothing.

Nobody is happy to work with Dana and the UFC. Fox said no thanks, and opted to go with WWE instead.

Reebok said nope.

ESPN was quite pissed when Dana pulled one on them with 'fight island' where they just put enough shitty cards together to legally fulfill their contractual obligations during Covid.

There's a reason.

But, Dana is personal friends with Trump. He's also very good friends with Joe Rogan. Together, these 3 are some of the most influential people in the world today. Dana's definitely good at that kinda thing. WME will probably continue to let Dana run the sport to the ground as long as he makes money for them, or advances their value in the market.

TKO Stock is up about 20% from Election Day, and 68% from last year.

Dana's not going anywhere.

Dana White is basically just a Pr spokes person now, Hunter Campbell runs all things now, only reason he hasn’t fully taken over is Dana is more well known and doesn’t ooze the charisma Dana has

She could have pushed him, not slapped him, Dana just fought back, it was self-defense. Or for you white knights, women can hit men with impunity, and they should never fight back?

Self-defense... <lol> Yeah, Dana's health and life sure were in immediate danger from his drunk, middle-aged, little wife.

And I never said she was justified, that's just what happened.

TS...........the funny thing is Dana has less control today than he has ever had with the UFC.

Don't forget more money, more problems and that is big issue in the UFC world today. In 2006 not losing money was basically the number one goal behind the scenes.

The Sphere card set the record for UFC gates iirc, flopped?

Too many good points to list
