Movies Enemy at the Gates

Rachel Weisz was a gift to men.

I'd put my enemy through her gates.

Wait....

As a Russian I must say this movie's cheesiness levels are over 9000.
Otherwise a good movie.

Entertaining movie with a good cast but it’s average at best.

Good Hollywood take on Stalingrad. Not on the level of the ATG war films, though. Ed Harris,
Bob Haskins, and Ron Pearlman really made the film. 7.5\10

I remember liking it, but even then I felt it rode the coattails of Saving Private Ryan. Good flick, probably deserves a rewatch.

I also remember the British accents portraying Russians being stupid.

Also, I’ve been a member of Sherdog since 2011 and this message board has become nearly unusable since the last update. This might be my last post.

That scene where the commisar (?) yell at the soldiers for one person to get a rifle and another only get a grenade stayed with me when I watched it in theater. And since then, I've had the stereotypical view that Russian soldiers have been poorly equipped ingrained in me.

And I always confuse this one with Barbarians at the Gate which is an awesome movie.

Top 3 War Movie Ever.

Its that damn good.

And it has the most bizarre love scene ever.
