I think you are misinterpreting.. I think only a small minority think he actually did it on purpose and is, in fact, a Nazi.

The majority I believe feel he did it accidentally.. but he still did it and it is clear what it looked like and he is in the wrong for it.

The other minority see nothing wrong with it and/or actually enjoyed it.

To be clear, I think he did do it on accident and should own up to it. I do not think he is an actual nazi, but I don't feel as if people are crazy for seeing what actually happened in reality. It's not made up, it's not AI.. he actually did that - in Washington DC of all places - and it was fucking dumb.
