mass deportation is an example of genocide, provided the targeted group is of a certain or some certain ethnoreligious group(s). if trump decided to round up all the jews and deport them all, it would be genocide even if a single one wasn't murdered.

you don't have to be a citizen of a country to be genocided inside of it. jews also were not considered citizens inside of nazi germany because hitler brought in the nuremberg laws, redefining what a citizen was in the context of the reich. jews, by technical definition, were illegals.
