i think the point is that he absolutely annihilated the platform and tanked its value by buying it and changing it. makes it much more obvious that these so called "dems" were providing basic moderation to keep their product profitable.

Yeah that's one of my gripes with Musk. He always gives ridiculously fast estimated times of completion , and that means cutting corners, sometimes at the expense of safety. Like his self driving cars not being able to tell the difference between a bridge and an 18 wheeler trailer, and driving under them killing the occupants. His whole attitude about that was like "we're still learning, gotta break a few eggs to make an omelet" and he just left those vehicles on the road. F that.

And this stuff about Mars I'm sorry but that's just stooopid. We're not ready for that yet. Not even close. Wtf does he think he will do IF he can get people there? Build a base? On fucking Mars?! We don't have the tech to do that and even if we did it's still fairly pointless, Mars is not habitable!

i hope you realize that net worth is related to consumer and investor faith in the stock he owns, not cash he has access to. valuations of tesla are contested, though relatively stable. that is what his net worth is based on.
