I've already posted a video showing a Kremlin official declare the deteriorated state of US-Russian relations. Review this article if you like:
Critics said NATO expansion would start a new Cold War. They were right.

The primary thorn in relations between the US and Russia has been NATO. As I already showed, Trump not only increased US spending on NATO, but he successfully spurred European leaders into an increase of their own spending on NATO. Trump's executive maneuvers in Syria was the other major fulcrum of discord.
Trump himself admitted this. And it was just empty bluster from him, his own top diplomats and his Secretary of State echoed his sentiment.
So did Putin, for Christ's sake!
Stanford intellectuals were writing books about it.

It's just mind-boggling to me that leftists are so blinded by partisanship they feel the need to construe Trump or Musk as Russian allies and puppets. As I already explained, just because the Russians might prefer a Trump presidency doesn't mean he's their friend. It just means they're more certain Biden/Harris maintain policies even more hostile to them. With Harris, they know Democrats will maintain the course on Ukrainian aid. So they are pinning their hopes on a roll of the dice that Trump, due to his rhetoric,
might opt to scale that back, or cancel it altogether, because it's less popular with Republicans. Really, it's not Trump they're buying into. They just hope he'll tow the party line as President, and line up with congressional Republicans on the matter.
Of course, as anyone who pays attention knows, betting on Trump is not a gamble without risk. Trump says one thing and does the opposite
all the time. In fact, as you can see above, that's exactly what happened the first time for Russia. He buttered them up only to stab them in the back.
