Elections Elizabeth Warren likely is running for President

What gets me is how bad at math most people are. Warren claim that her great great great grandma was part native. So let's work the math at half native: .5/2=.25/2=.125/2=.0625/2=.03125/2=.015625/2=.0078125 or 1/128

The part that bothers me about this is thar people act like she had said she was half and turned out with a small percentage. Her claims were always a small amount.

The worse part is that it could have been her great great grandmother and full blooded native, and because of how genes are passed, she could have the same results.

Basically the amount of native DNA they found has a range of implications.

Someone could have a far higher % of native DNA, and yet have that ancestor that was native be much farther removed by generations.

In other words. Great great grandma was native, dna results 1/128th.

Great, great, great, great, great, great grandmother was native, dna results 1/96th native dna.

It isn't a hard math situation. You can't just go my mom was German, my dad was native, so I am half native. That is not what your DNA will say. In some ways the German DNA will win out, in others the native dna. It will be different for every person.

Fuck you democrats

This is how we get stuck with Trump 2020

You can say it is P.C. but others will say it is decency and not resorting to racial denigration. Would it be ok for Trump to refer to Blacks, Asians, Native peoples with racial slurs? If not then why not, because racial slurs being verboten is political correctness.

Was Pocahontas a pos or something? Where's the slur?

I just have a simple question for any Trump supporter who thinks the Pocanhantus attack is it.

You realize that a porn star fucked the president while he was married right?

Idc that he calls her that. I also dont care that he fucked a pornstar.

10 years ago if it came out that Donald Trump fucked a pornstar while married, no one would've cared nor been surprised. It's only bc he's the president that anyone cares. Blah blah Bill Clinton, I dont care about that either.

It's all smear campaigns, in reality few people really care besides the opposing party

Are there any potential candidates who aren't past retirement age? She'll be 71 in 2020, Biden will be over 70, Sanders will be mid-70s....seriously, name one other job with a comparable level of stress for which we routinely hire geriatrics.

The main reason age is a problem in politics is that so many of our senators and congressfolks that are old have been in their seat for ages and are more in the pocket of businesses.

Fucking hookers while you're in your late 50s while your hot wife is at home with your newborn isn't a partisan issue. That says something about one's character. Yea, we probably wouldn't have cared if we found out 10 years ago, because 10 years ago Trump was just some guy on TV telling someone every week they're fired. There's a huge difference between being a celebrity who's life affects almost nobody and holding the most powerful office on the planet. It's pretty normal that a lot of us think we deserve someone with higher morals in that position.

You can't run for president if you're under 35. There should be an upper limit too. I think 70 for your first term is a good place to start the debate.

Fucking geezers trying to stay relevant!

Honestly, I want someone old if it is accompanied by a long track record I don't have to trust, but can verify.

Of course I will take a younger person with a long track record as well. So I guess having a paper trail to verify is what I value.

Hadn't really considered enforced age limits before, so I won't comment. The issue for me is that if someone ran when they were 69, they'd be 77 in their last year, if they got re-elected. I haven't known ANY people in their mid or late 70s that I would trust with an extremely stressful job. Senior adviser, yes, absolutely, but an executive position?

Yea, there's certainly an argument to be made that experience is more important than anything else and that by definition, gaining experience takes time. But I have trouble believing that in virtually all other high level careers (e.g. surgeons, lawyers, CEOs, etc), a person usually enjoys their prime somewhere between their mid 40s and mid 50s and then sort of tapers off for a few years before retirement, but in politics for some reason a person's prime begins when most others are retired.

I get that she wants to help the country, but splitting the progressive vote isn't the way to do it. It's ok to cheer on from the sidelines or push the running back over the goal line. I like Sen. Warren, but I don't think she can stand up to President Trumps' bullying.

None of the candidates can - they've all been taught to act with a certain decorum that won't let them. And quite honestly the only way to stand up to him is to make yourself look just a as childish and "unpresidential".

I think in jobs that are completely mental, it is common. Judge, lawyer, scientist, ect.

Yeah, a surgeon shouldn't be performing surgery once their body starts breaking down.

I have met 90 year olds that were sharp as a tac.

Obama was having sex with gay hookers and smoking crack cocaine 10 years before he was President and nobody complained about his morals like they do with Trump.

LOL, they always forget about that.
They don't give a good goddamn about "morality", only casting stones for cheap, nickel plated validation from their peers in the monkey house.
