Definitely not a fan of trance or a lot of other genres of electronic music
I like songs that keep you on your toes, rhythmically
Ochre is maybe my favorite artist. He's a boyish British lad who has a PHD in music from the University of Newcastle
Christopher Robin↑
his songs are very melodic and layered, and also include some really cool rhythmic ideas. Full of counter-melodies and polyrhythms.

↑ potato-quality on that one but it's a hell of a jam, especially the second half
a live set↓

I also like HelloMeteor. They keep it a bit simpler. Some of the synth patches they use remind me of The Who

who are some other good artists I'm missing out on?
InB4 electronic music sucks
