Does anyone else's mind start to wander and ask weird questions of the universe? LOL!!!

Water is a conductor of electricity. How much current is lost in relation to the volume of water?

For example; if your hand was in a bucket of water and you tased the water, would you get shocked?

What if the bucket was 10x the volume?

Google didn't help.

Because of resistance you get voltage drop. Same thing with copper.

Real scientists figure it out through experiments.

Get to work TS.

Water won't hold a charge unless it is in something like a plastic bowl that is insulating.

It really depends on the water, how pure it is. Pure water isn't a good conductor at all, it's the electrolytes in the water (all the iron, calcium, lime, dirt, and other particals) that conduct the electricity.

For current to flow it needs a path or circuit to flow from and to. A taser has 2 probes and the current travels between them. The current would travel through the water not your body. That's how birds can perch on high voltage electrical lines without getting killed. They don't complete a circuit.

I recently found some videos on YT where a guy claims to have figured out magnetism and he claims magnetism and electro magnetic fields do not work the way we are taught. Dude claims gravity is bullshit and does not exist. He says everything in the observable universe can be explained by his electro-magnetic theory. And I gotta admit, the guy seems extremely intelligent and proves everything he talks about.

He also proved that the gravitational waves that scientists think they detected recently, are not caused from gravity but from electro magnetic distortion. And no bullshit he duplicates exactly what they found, using a magnet and a old cathode ray tv set.

Are you saying i wouldn' get shocked? Wouldn't i become the end of the circuit thus getting shocked?

Is his name Magneto?
Do you have a link?

It was once thought that gravity was an electro-magnetic force and that a magnetic field could therefore overcome gravity or create artificial gravity. This would allow a human to become weightless but magnetism only works on certain materials. If you could create a magnet that could repel gravity it could be used for space travel but it doesn't appear to be possible.

A circuit doesn't have an end. It's a loop and that loop goes from terminal to terminal on the taser.

Thanks for the link jackass

Thanks for the link jackass

Wasn't sure if there would be any interest in this or not. I was fascinated by it though. I watched this dudes videos for like 4 hours the other day. I honestly can't tell if he's a genius or a nut.

This isn't his video, he just has a segment in this one. It's a long vid but the whole thing is interesting. But start @ 37:45 to see what the scientists showed as their evidence of gravitational waves. Then skip to @ 48:41 to see the guy I'm talking about. He duplicates that shit to the tee, using only a magnet and cathode ray tube. He explains why THAT is what those gravitational scientists are seeing, NOT gravitational waves. And I think he's right.

There is about 10 minutes of him explaining a lot more about electromagnetism and how he really thinks it works, @ 40:20.

I gotta say, I think this guy might actually be right. He explains why he thinks Einstein was completely wrong, and how Telsa was completely right. And how gravity isn't what we think it is, it's actually electromagnetism.

The guy goes by Theoria Apophasis on YT. He's got a shit ton of educational videos about magnetism and how it really works, and why what we have been taught about magnetism is wrong. He's got a free book for download. I thought about checking it out but haven't yet. But this dude is compelling and I gotta say, his take on electromagnetism might actually be right. Einstein might have been wrong. No bullshit, listen to this dude for a few minutes and you'll see what I mean.

If you're at all interested in this, you should really check this guy's videos out. He says magnets work completely different than how we think they do, and he flat out scientifically proves everything he's saying. I honestly think he's on to something.

That video of his that I posted (the bottom one) is a playlist and it has like 140 videos about his theories. It's hard to digest, and pretty hard to follow, but it's compelling as hell, imo.

If im part of the circuit wont it pass through me with no ill effect where if ive interrupted it it would hurt me and shoot through possibly leaving an exit wound?

I might be ignorant i dont know too much about this subject.

Edit: when you interrupt the electrical current passing from terminal to terminal on the taser you get shocked. Yes?

Thanks for the link, looks interesting I'll check it out when i have time.

I kind of get the theory that everything and i mean everything has some sort of electromagnetic field some stronger than others (X-MEN bro science lol).

Maybe we haven't found magnetic forces strong or efficient enough to conduct proper experiments of manipulating these fields.

What if all our bodies have different sort of electromagnetic/bio magnetic fields? Giving us feelings of intuition, awkwardness, likability, etc based on other peoples fields we come into contact with. These feeling then get processed by our logical brains using experience and reason to comorehend these feelings? Pretty weird i know!

There is a lot of resistance, add some salt to the water and you stand a better chance.

Yeah I think everything from the tiniest parts of cells, to the planets and stars, are held together by electromagnetic fields. I figure everything generates it's own EMF, too. But yeah it's bro science, for sure :D Who knows how this shit works?

And personally I believe people have those energy fields you're talking about. Auras, chi, whatever you want to call it. I've heard it said that if you could see these energy fields, and you had an alpha dude like Arnold, and he was talking to a little girly man, you could see the girly man's energy going in to Arnold. Like he was taking his energy. It's an interesting thought.
