Buddy of mine had a mini Vikings (the show) inspired wedding complete with standing in water and shit like when Floki and Helga got hitched.

The amount of random shit me and my friends broke with him and his husband at the reception was.... yeah. Pretty sure like 70% of the music was ripped from Vikings, the Witcher games, and like Last Kingdom.

You’re right about the cop, when I first watched it I thought the guy behind her in grey and black was a cop.

I think some member of law enforcement heard someone yell to bust the door down, saw a person breaking in, and made the decision to shoot when they were already half way through the other side and they had a clear shot. I don't know exactly what part of the building they were in but if they had guns drawn on the other side of that door and that was where they'd decided to hold the mob off, then shooting what would have been the first of many people who had just announced their intentions to break in and do who knows what was the only play left. I mean, unless you think they were all supposed to just stand down while traitors to our nation took over the Capitol entirely.

We’ll see. You could be right, my first impression was that it was accidental. Since you responded I’ve watched several other videos/angles and I’m less sure now.

You read these types of things and then you read people who suggest that Trump's behavior was not the cause of this violence.

He is without question the worst President ever. I hope that history is honest about this. This man has been angling for a violent overthrow of our democracy for years.

I'm not being hyperbolic here. As I've read his rhetoric over the years. THe specific types of responses he asks for. The way he framed himself and the country as interchangeable. His constant reference to how his supporters had the strength and, more importantly, the guns to not be pushed around. For years, he's been positioning himself and his supporters to overthrow any election that didn't end in his favor.

We've been seeing this build up for years and some people were so obsessed with "the left" and "liberals" that they completely turned their back on supporting the actual principles of the nation.

This is a pretty terrible post and you are being laughably hyperbolic

If anything, Trump has been too devoted to the framers' original idea of what federal government is supposed to be, both in terms of domestic and -- especially -- foreign policy. The problem for Trump is that the world has moved past this ideal. I disagree with Trump and anyone else who believes we should intend to just magically revert back in time to a simpler era, and I therefore wouldn't ever vote for him or anyone like him, but your analysis (if we can call it that) is lazy at best
