For the first time, an Irish nationalist will lead Northern Ireland’s government

I have never been to this part of the world. Has Northern Ireland really been without a government for two years? What are the policy differences between the Unionists and the Republicans?

How does the backstop work? Good and people between Ireland and Northern Ireland are not checked, but goods and people between the other parts of the UK are checked?

If we can see a power sharing agreement that would probably be best right? Once again I have never been but it sounds there are culutural and religious reasons why we won't see reunification?

The best way to get a look at the region is to watch Derry Girls.

I’ve seen “nationalist” and “IRA” but I also don’t see a desirable level of mainstream media panic about it for it to possibly be a good or consequential thing for Northern Ireland.

North Ireland shut down its government in anticipation of Conor uniting Ireland and becoming King of Ireland.

Something something immigration

Everything in the world is the fault of the migrants apparently
