Not really. Crowdstrike did have evidence of Russian backed groups targeting and hacking the DNC. They just didn't have direct evidence of the data exfiltration being part of that, only circumstantial.
In other words, they did not have good enough evidence.

In other words, they did not have good enough evidence.

They had the phishing emails, source ips for those emails (associated with "Cozy Bear" and "Fancy Bear"), timezones of those responsible, patterns of attack and evidence that after the infiltration data had been collected on the network.
They didn't have any network sensor or monitoring which captured the exfiltration of that data or it's destination, simply the fact that after this happened it was released to the public through wikileaks.
Wikileaks claimed it wasn't provided by the Russians, but then Assange had already taken a job working for their state propaganda network (RT).

Trump is clearly not a fan of war. He's into hitting super hard at key targets and then asking if they'd like to see that happen again. He also has zero issue with threatening their top people. I really appreciate his approach compared to Bush, Clinton, Bush, Obama, and Biden. He's been our best President on defense since Reagan... who had a similar approach, but also was more Hawkish with instigation.

but i thought donald trump, who received the most votes against him in the history of united states presidential elections, was universally liked and respected worldwide. why would some other country want to do this to him?

Hey dipshit, Iran is our enemy. And they don't want Trump to win.

Think about it. You'll catch up eventually.

Yeah that's why Iran is trying to stack the deck in Kamala's favor.

FFS the media has done a great job on people like you.

As if my views on America and Iran are a product of American media.
America's long history of fuck ups with Iran are well documented, but mostly not by Americans, and US and Iranian relations involve no shortage of regrets for both. Including with Iran's history of choices when supporting US presidential candidates.

You're adorable

I don't really care that much. It should be part of our general cyber strategy to try to ward off hacks from foreign countries. As they seem so ubiquitous, any single hack that doesn't result in a tangible security threat doesn't really move the needle for me. Unfortunately at this point, candidates need to protect themselves against cyber attacks.

It's possibly the most annoying part of Russiagate was how it was treated as some unique thing. Russia was marked as a uniquely malicious actor trying to interfere in our elections, when it has been shown that Iran, China, North Korea, and Israel have tried the same thing. I'm sure U.S. groups have tried to as well.

Iran can't even detect bombs in their proxies' phones and you think they hacked Trump

wouldn't be that hard. at one point his twitter password was "yourefired." and some guy got into it, then he got into it again 6 years later with his 5'th guess of "MAGA2020!"

Key phrase in the article is “social engineering” which is a fancy way of saying they tricked people or guessed the passwords based on acailable information

Harris is colluding with Iran to disrupt our democratic process and election interference
