Trump fears Giuliani, other lawyers in Biden vote challenge are 'fools that are making him look bad'

Honestly when Trump put Rudy in charge I took it as him basically conceding.

Like I knew he would keep making an ass out of himself on twitter declaring that it was a rigged election but putting Rudy in charge of the legal fight to prove it......

Than he started pressuring state law makers to break the law so now I have no clue what he actually thinks. Maybe OANN and Newsmax convinced him it was rigged after he had initially given up, or he's hoping to secure some kind of a deal for his official concession.

If anyone is curious what’s happening here in WI, Trump’s top campaign lawyer here is currently arguing to have all absentee ballots cast in person tossed, claiming they’re illegal.
Including his own.
And his wife’s.
Because they voted that way. Riveting legal analysis going on here.

Imagine getting embarassed like this again and again, and holding on to any semblance of self-respect. Seems like the Trump team is trying to use the patented Trump strategy of getting checked so many times that people eventually become numb to the lie. Worked well for him before, but not so much now when providing evidence is required.

Imagine getting embarassed this hard again and again, and holding on to any semblence of self-respect. Seems like the Trump team is trying to use the patented Trump strategy of getting checked so many times that people eventually become numb to the lie. Worked well for him so far, not this time though when actually providing evidence of your claim is required.
But look at how it’s perceived by so many conservatives in this country. Trump is getting stomped in court, but the damage to the election process and Biden’s win/transition is done. There will always be some percentage of the population who wrongly thinks Biden “stole” an election.

They’re pathologically incapable of shame.

BTW, where is Trump? Haven't seen him in over a week now, is he hiding out somewhere?

Sadly that's true. So in a way, the strategy worked on the rubes and will continue to work on a smaller percentage, no matter how foolish they look. With that, it was good that everyone had a reality check when the courts got involved. Trump has been incredibly efficient at creating alternative realities and facts, he's a master of relavitism and confusion. If you can't even agree on the most basic fundamentals of reality, then everyone can just create their own and it's impossible to pin anyone down. Thankfully, them going to court like they did was a big mistake on their part, because it takes away from that. It proves that yes, objective reality does exist and dialing up the bullshit can't superseed that. He overplayed his hand here bigtime, which paradoxically might end up being good for the political discourse going forward.

Upper case I (i) look like lower case (l) L.

@SidneyPoweii1 which means either Poweil and Poweli are floating around or able to be taken
I've claimed them both and will be auctioning them off on ebay later today. Include the message "reelect" and I'll give you a 10% discount.

I'm sure his cultists have already mentally discounted any court decisions that don't go his way.
They'll say it's a conspiracy between the fake news and the deep state judges.

That is true, some people will double down, but I think this was important for the larger discussion. It's an objective point for everyone else to pin them down to, as well as making the conspiracy less believable.

They have. "It's Obama judges but the SCOTUS will do the right thing by Trump."

I hope so, but I don’t have much faith. Typically people that believe in conspiracies don’t respond to logic. His supporters will just blame his court losses on activist judges or the deep state or something.

edit: lol I see a couple other posters said the same thing :)

Right. Who would had guessed a former prosecutor, an author and a DA turned psychopath would be able to defend the President in an election fraud case seeing as none of them have any expertise in that field. That’s like asking a neuroradiologist to head up a pandemic response team.
