I actually really enjoyed the Bayle fight, I thought it was significantly more manageable than Midir in Dark Souls 3 which is for me my personal hardest boss in a From title.

Midra was a pretty cool boss fight too imo.

But the new Gank Squad can go fuck themselves. Thank fucking God I had Tholier and Ansbach on my side for that shit.

And Radahn… Holy shit. Especially during phase 2. No idea how I’m going to ever beat him.

That was my last area and cleared it after I finished the last boss because I missed the secret entrance. There wasn't much down there. It was more annoying because the area is fairly large outdoor area but your horse gets scared and have to do it all on foot. I don't even think there was a boss down there.

It means they reset to first encounter placement if they kill you instead of bombarding you at the fog gate.

LMFAO! I made it to Radahn last night, thought to myself “how am I ever going to beat him?” Read @Dizzy ’s post about using Bloodfiend Arm to bleed him to death. Think to myself “hmm, maybe I’ll try that tomorrow night”. Go to bed. Wake up to find it’s been nerfed in a patch overnight.

So has anyone actually made it to Scadu level 20? Because I made it to level 19 and I feel like I’ve done everything there is to do except beat Radahn. I’ve beat every other boss, I’ve explored every Gaol, forge and catacomb, found afaik every grace point etc and I only just had enough scadu fragments to reach level 19. I have none left, so presumably that means there has to be 3 more fragments out there somewhere in order to reach level 20 but I just don’t see how that’s possible, I’ve even cross referenced a map that’s supposed to show where to find every fragment and when I look at it nothing is popping up to me as obvious as one that I missed.

Maybe I have found them all and you just cannot reach 20 in a single play through??

I did, the last couple I needed were actually in Gravesite Plains, just ran right past them.

After Radahn I just pulled up a guide before I went to NG+.

i'm a filthy pirate and i don't get the updates pushed on me. i get to play this on the stupid day one difficulty but i dont gotta worry about all the fun stuff getting nerfed,

there should have only been 20 scat fragments and 10 spirit ash that gives you 1 level each. i'm spending too much time running around looking for these stupid things instead of actually playing through the game.

I'm at 17 without even looking for them so there must be a lot.

Did a few attempts on Radahn. Phase 1 is fine but phase 2 he's right up my ass while my Mimic stands there lol
 
took out the dancing lion on my first try ever and it never even got a hit in on me! i'd throw a jumping attack at him and then just go all rollie pollie on the motherfucker until i felt confident enough to go unga bunga some more.

not the most honorable way to fight but i found that tactic absolutely hilarious and it worked masterfully! that idiot tried to throw everything at me but just kept on missing. i landed every shot and staggered in a couple crits. for a minute i actually felt like i was good at this game. i just beasted that sack of shit.

if i knew it was going to play out like that i would have just fought the fucker naked. that would have been one for the ages.

looking at the interactive map and apparently there's a radahn fight somewhere right next to dancing lion but i cant figure out how to get to the area. i thought maybe it was in the sewers of belurat but all i found in there was a bunch or random items and enemies and a fight with some kind of wrym miniboss thingy. maybe i missed something. but i've went up and down the whole place a couple times over.

oh shit theres a lift ive found in the dancing lion area. i didnt see that room. derp. looks like that goes somewhere.
 
oh shit i made it to the area where radahn is supposed to be but it won't let me in. guess i've gotta kill some boss or do someones quest.

how evil.
