Economy Eggs Are Now $8 for 18

First time i noticed at Oublix it was $5.55 for a 12 pack of extra large standards. I questioned it, so the next time i was in, the large 12 pack standards were $6.19! The extra large 18 standards were just under $9.

I looked at the organic free range eggs and their prices didnt change much and are the only ones that have sales. So....if im gonna pay extra, might as well go with the name brand ones.
 
Those must be New York or California eggs. I don't eat eggs but saw the other day they were selling for around half that price here in Florida.

Gas is $2.64 a gallon and the prices are still skyrocketing. I'm sure it's gouging at least to a degree
 
How many eggs are you consuming with a meal, $1-$2 worth?
 
I like hardboiled eggs
That's becauae I can be lazy when I cook them, I'll do a dozen at a time and put them in the fridge.

Yeah it's ridiculous.

I had a coupon in the mail recently for a buy 1 get 1 free Baconator at Wendy's.
I never had a Baconator before and the picture looked delicious, so I said why not.
I hand the cashier the coupon and he tells me the total with coupon = $9.31
I'm thinking......Woah!!! WTF
So if I didn't have the coupon, that means 2 Baconators = $18.62
SERIOUSLY!?!?!

This is sandwich only, not the meal.

Yea I think that’s the most expensive sandwich they have. My cousin got one and a meal for his mom and his mom convinced him that they stole from him. He drove back up there and almost started a scene over it. He had a weird interaction with the drive thru guy so that was also part of it. They showed him the receipt and he was like holy shit never again.

When it happened to me he was the first person I called. He was just like I tried to tell you.

Fuck that, can just grab a 10 pack of ground beef patties and a bag of potatoes (or frozen fries) from the grocery store to feed a family for less than $15. The only fast food burgers I've ever cared for are from In-N-Out, and I'm not even sure why but they're still reasonably priced. I was at a job site last week and had no choice, was fucking starving: got a double-double with their little tray of fries, was less than $7.50.
 
I wanted to smoke some shrimp an dscallops and saw fresh atlantic scallops are $45/oind. fuckin'ell
