Eastern fighters game the rules

It's the rule set like someone said before. I blame gsp for the way most fighters perform. They just dont have his rizz... or jizz?

This fighting style doesn't work anywhere outside a matted octagon, don't get excited. No real world fights look like this. Imagine scrambling for takedowns on a concrete floor LOL. Thats why these guys get their asses kicked all.over the planet.
Right, the old "real fight bro" argument. I have seen many wrestlers in streetfights and they finish 10 out of 10 of those with a slam on the floor resulting in severe spine, neck and brain damage. There is no scrambling. Only paralysis or death.

They're just better fighters on average. It may not be marketable or fan friendly, but unless you want to artificially remove them for being too good at fighting, it is what it is.

Also nobody is stopping everyone in the rest of the world from learning how to defend a takedown, fight off their back and get back to their feet. They just for the most part arent able to do it well enough to stop these guys.

There's absolutely zero chance Khamzat picks DDP up and slams him on the floor on the outside World. Zero. Also no chance it looks like that scrambling borefest we just watched, which is why these "fights" are such a charade.

They’re not better fighters, they’re just nastier because of their upbringing and train for substance over style, and in a spectator sport meant for entertainment that people are paying to watch be it through subscription or whatever else, people have a right to complain. As others have said I think it’s a symptom of the rules now more than anything.

But that fight style doesn’t happen by accident. While a guy like Topuria is training combinations in the gym to deliver a brutal knockout, Tsarukyan is drilling grappling for control

And Topuria, by magical coincidence of course, happens to be an Eastern fighter himself genetically.

See that's where you show even more of your idiocy, you don't need to pick someone up and slam him WWE style every time to cause the injuries I just mentioned(and btw, Khamzat did in fact pick airlift DDP). It doesn't take much to shatter something on a concrete floor. Perfect example: Sonnen breaking Wanderlei's bones with just a simple double leg on the concrete floor.

You would know that if you weren't a poser doing your "real fight bro" shtick. You know nothing.

It's more nuanced than I made out, granted, but you're just as likely to shatter your own bones fighting this way. Thats why it never looks like this when the pros clash in the street. Where was the takedown when Tito Ortiz fought Lee Murray? In an octagon he'd have his way with Murray, but in reality he got his head kicked in. I've seen numerous example of this. Remember that kid trying to pull guard on TUF and the opponent just dropped him on his head? In a matted ring he'd have got an armbar, in reality he nearly got killed going for one.

Inb4 some mug tells me I don’t know what I’m watching or whatever..

They all fight with the same goal, just a different approach - Take your opponent to a decision while taking absolutely zero risks. Chimaev last night didn’t posture up a single time to do damage to DDP because in doing so would have created an opportunity for a scramble

Ank does the same thing - “mixes it up” meaning he throws takedowns in when his opponent is not expecting it and does no damage, it’s just a tool to control the fight, to ensure no damage is taken

To be fair to Merab he is the most exciting out of the three. Especially in his fight with Umar he was in the pocket trading

The more guys from these regions that are on the roster, the worse the product becomes for the neutral spectator - and that is an objective fact

I think it’s interesting to explore why these guys might fight like this

Many gingers up there
