I live in LA.

Didn’t feel it but I did run into Blake Griffin in an Alfred’s coffee this morning and my girlfriend tried to go out the door at the same time as him. It was a small door and it got awkward figuring out who should go first and I usually pride myself on playing it cool around celebrities so I was shaken up too.

What part of OC are you from? My mother in law was in the city of Orange when it & she said it wasn't bad at all. Of course, I imagine it all depends what sort of building you were in.

I live close to Orange in a nice, but older neighborhood. The area is very patchwork. Within a few blocks you have nice, really nice, and the ghetto. The newest parts of OC are mostly in the south, but VERY expensive. One of my big regrets was not taking my mother up on her offer to let me manage a fourplex in San Clemente they owned back in the 90s. That place would be worth a fortune now.

Oh, OK. My wife was born & raised in Orange. She lived there her whole life except for a couple of years when she lived in Newport Beach. But, then she moved back to Orange which is when I met her.
Then she moved across the country to marry me while I finished up some things that I had a commitment to here in Niagara Falls with the promise that we'd move back to Orange this year. But, fate intervened & now we're moving to Sedona, Arizona instead. But, we plan on visiting SoCal & Orange as much as possible because my mother in law lives there. Well, actually just over the border in Anaheim.
Have you ever been to the Capri on Katella? That's our bar. If you haven't been there you should stop in it has great food too.
