I've had my nipples pierced 3 times in all. First time neither nipple healed, lots of pain and some pus.
Second time, neither nipple healed, lots of pain and some pus.
Third time, one nipple finally healed, the other had lots of pain and some pus!

Had a girl with pierced nipple rings and when she became aroused the rings would end up into the horizontal!

I did my upper ears during a severely inebriated night with friends using ice and hot pin method. Painless but no studs. I think it was staples I used to try and keep the holes open which was completely inadequate. Took the staples out after a couple days and let it heal over.

I love wearing jewelry. Earings, necklace, rings...I like to wear all of it.
But for me I usually reserve it for occasion, and I'm not into the gaudy shit. My ears are pierced but I'll usually keep it to a sterling stud or small loop, I don't do gages.

But, as the guy I quoted points out: to each their own. Where whatever the fuck makes you happy.
