Was drunk in college. Some girls said I'd look good with a pierced ear. My friends said I should rock it. We pushed a small picture hanging nail through my ear lobe.

I wore an earring for a few months. It makes for a decent "I was a dumbass" story but I wish I never got it pierced.

I say to do whatever you like. Then live with it. Earrings on middle aged or older guys look stupid IMO so keep that in mind.

I got both mine pierced when I was 19. Pretty much always wore studs cause hoops looked weird on me. Stopped wearing them a few years ago but in somewhat of a midlife crisis (38) I decided to start rocking them again last year. Gotten a fair amount of compliments from ladies since.

Some guys can pull them off some can't. They work for me.
