It was cool in the 80s and 90s. I wish I never got them done, the holes never truly closed. Now it’s been ruined by hipsters, douchebags and romos.

I also find the double standard hilarious. if a guy wears an over the top 40k rolex some of you would think "wow, that guy must be real successful" but if a guy wears 40k worth of jewelry its "womanly" or comes from "insecurity"? dumb.

I pierced my own ears with a needle once. The I realised I did the gay ear, so I did the other ear and swapped the earring. Then I realised how annoying earrings were took it out after a week and never wore it again.
 
I don't have any piercings anymore haven't for years I guess I grew past that lol
 
Always thought they were stupid, but the left ear pierced on guys was big enough in the 90's.
 
I had my left ear pierced when I was 13. 2 actually when I started. 4 in total all in my left ear during the 90's. This was before knowing the right ear gay thing. I guess I was hetero cursed.
