After some searching I couldn't find this mentioned here, and it isn't mentioned in any of Ross E's books.

Basically you tense your muscles as hard as you can, and move them through a range of motion.

Apparantly it's a great way to increase strength, in conjunction with weight training.

Anyone do this?
 
I believe Charles Atlas popularized this back in the day.

I supposed you COULD do it in conjunction with weight training, but it will more than likely be a waste of time.
 
Some TMA dudes do this in place of lifting. Seems like if you live a sedentary lifestyle it might give you something (as most kinds activity would) but it doesn't seem like it would be worth an athlete's time.
 
It's one of those things that lets people beat around the bush and avoid heavy lifting.

Fact: you should use newfound athletic prowess to beat people up. Mac should have just stayed skinny and shivved the bully.
