Dying your Gi blue...anyone do it?

I saw a tutorial by a ninjitsu dude who died his own Gi black and tis his favourate gi he owns ebcause its not QUITE black, so it doesnt stand out as much when you're standing in shadows. He claimed to have had the gi for AGES and he seemed at least moderately legit so I know it is possible to dye a gi your self

My instructor tried to dye his gi dark blue and now it looks like acid washed denim.

Which is actually fairly cool, its like a Wrangler gi.

I actually started a website for that specific purpose.

Check out a white ouano I dyed recently. Dark Purple.

They don't bleed, the color won't run with lights, and the color does not fade. It's 100% permanent.

whats cool is when you dye it, niether the patches nor the stitching get affected by it, the stitching gives it a cool outlined effect.
