Dwayne was actually a legit football player... Arnold was a bodybuilder... I think Dwayne came from something a tad less jokish than bodybuilding while on roids.

He has yet to have his Terminator, Predator, or Rambo, but he has been consistently been putting out entertaining movies and is becoming the go-to guy to kick up a sequel a notch. Has the torch been officially passed?

He has been kicking ass and taking names. He has basically been joining failing franchises falling into obscurity, then bringing them back into mainstream hit status.

Like you said though, he hasn't had a "breakout" or "career-defining" movie or role yet.

Would be great if it happens. World could use another masculine role model.

On topic I'd say Dwayne has yet to find an iconic defining role like the Terminator or Rocky was for me.

He also looks like he's about to explode, at least Arnold cut back on the roids when he focused on acting, Dwaynes getting bigger than ever.

yeah it wasn't right away i guess. 6 years isn't that long, though.

the rock has been making movies for over a decade and was hugely famous before that. still hasnt given us any one to remember.
