It's all for fun. This won't ever happen, especially an 8-man tournament. It's hard enough to get Conor to fight a single time. There's no way he'd do an old-school, one-night tournament with multiple fights. And I don't know if Mas can make anything below MW at this point.

Not only that but honestly I never thought of Masvidal as someone who is a 'BMF', all things considered. I get it, he doesn't fuck around and make boisterous statements to the media, but a guy with 17 wins be decision in fights that aren't generally the most exciting doesn't make much sense in this what if scenario.

I think Oliveira is a better 4th than Hooker. That would also make it so each participant will have at least already shared the cage with minimum 2 of the other participants. With Max, and Dustin having already fought all 3. All that shared history would make it so much easier to promo and sell

It would be difficult logistically.

Maybe the first fight would be 2 rounds like TUF
Finals could then be a standard 3 round fight.

Tie breaker would be Unga Bunga

2. Those same people praise the idea of Chandler being in there, who is winless against everyone in the tournament and has been inactive for the last 2 years while Hooker has been winning/earning a spot in the top 5

Hooker is more appropriate than Chandler IMO.
