Media Dustin Poirier seems really annoyed in his interview with Ariel

Didnt watch but he is probably pissed that he was underdog came through and won but he is treated like he got lucky.

Ariel is managed by Conor’s management. Besides that, he likes to instigate drama like the true little weasel he is. I’d rather have Schmo’s weird ass asking friendly questions

I don’t understand. Your avi is Conor dude
I like Conor but he shouldn't be ranked at lightweight imo due to inactivity, hes still a beast and will be back with a vengeance in 2021!
{<Mcgoat}{<Mcgoat}{<Mcgoat}{<Mcgoat}

Dustin is ruining it for himself. He should act like a champion and in all interviews say confident that he is the champion.
If he really wants the belt he shouldn't be crying about it but act as if he already owns it.

Dustin is a good fighter, a really good fighter that has beaten some tuf guys

but he is not a superstar making superstar money, just doesnt have the "it factor"

Losses hurt his resume. Great featherweight run to get him to contendership, gets choked out by Korean Zombie in a headliner
Makes another run for the belt, KO'd by McGregor
looking good after moving up in weight, KO loss to Michael Johnson
another good run, winning interim gold, sub loss to Khabib

he can be annoyed, but he is the reason sometimes he gets outshined

And its mostly not because of Ariel, but Dustin seems pretty annoyed with both the media and fans in General. The shot at ariel manipulating headlines at the end was funny.
Ariel asks Dustin if he got PPV points, Dustin seems pretty annoyed(17:49) <Lmaoo>

I don't think Dustin comes across good here, but I guess I understand some of his ire

Can't front - this interview makes me like the guy more. Seems like a really solid dude. Big ups Dustin!

AND I just realized he's in front of a picture of Jack Johnson. Go Dustin!

Dustin doesnt seem that comfortable with interviews. I don't think he purposefully tries to be a dick but he just doesnt seem relaxed.

He did get kind of pissy with that PPV question but I think that is probably more of an issue between him and the UFC than he and Ariel.

He was pissy the whole interview. He clapped back at ariel using bait titles/headlines but he was more just pissed with everyone overlooking him and everything surrounding the lead up to the fight that I think he doesn't care about after the fight. Think he views it as fake praise instead of due praise.

He did mention in the interview he was tired of being doubted his whole career. Dude, just enjoy the moment. Being doubted sucks, but just enjoy the moment.

He mentions that in the interview. He talks about his frustrations with the fight business, not fighting but the fight business. Eh, I can understand to some degree. But He won, he made it. I don't know why harp on it instead of laugh about it but the chip is still there.

if the chip wasn’t there he wouldn’t have gotten this far after all the set backs.

you don’t just turn the chip off (for lack of better description). It’s what made him who he is

I can respect it. There is no phoniness there what so ever and I absolutely love it

He screamed “I hate this shit” right after knocking out Conor. I thought it was a pretty weird thing to yell out after winning at the time, just chalked it up to maybe being mad at having to deal with all the fight island BS.
But hey I’d be a little annoyed too if I just got a bunch of disrespect all week and the media was just sucking off my opponent.

One headphone lol.. Cauliflower ear is a ma'fucka..

Dustin Poirier literally tells Helwani at the end of the interview "I love you man"

Classic Conor, always winning the wars. Practically unbeaten.

In the end that is what counts. A large part of the reason why Khabib retired was he knows that if he fought Conor when Conor's foot isn't a balloon so his footwork is all there he doesn't stand much of a chance.
