This isn't a layup for either guy. If anything it would be embarrassing for either guy to lose. Chandler it would be embarrassing to lose to a guy that's basically been a druggie the last half decade and isn't serious about training. McGregor it would be embarrassing to lose to a guy that's intentionally cherry picked to be a stylistic favorable matchup (Chandler by July will also be 40 years old and a decade removed from his prime).
I mean if Conor is still at near what he was I’d agree. Chandler fights stupid and recklessly, tailor made for a rangy sniper like Conor. But there’s not much reason to think Conor would be nearly at his best. And for all Chandler’s faults, he’d almost certainly be more prepared.
