Dustin’s way to beat Conor is trying spamming the takedowns and...

I think it's a little bit of a myth that you can easily tire Conor out within two rounds.

You've only got one example of that, the first Diaz fight.

But you have at two examples of him winning later rounds
* In the Diaz rematch he was looking gassed in round 3, still came back to win the last two.
* Against Khabib he was on the floor for two rounds, still came back to win round 3.

Sure, he did gas and lose a lot of power in both those fights but all I'm saying is he's not at all guaranteed to lose every round after the second round.
Dustin is very active fighter and he looks like a man in comparison to when he first fought Conor and it’s who gets that button first honestly! I’m leaning towards Dustin because he is the better all around fighter.

Lmao Calling a former 2 division champ a bum and insulting a person you never met online? Ok we're done here

I tried to be polite, but all good. Have a nice day
he aint a bum, but he got dropped " like " a bum, I am a khabib fan, but I am realistic, he is not a good offensive striker at all on the feet, so to get dropped by him, I am sorry but either ur a bum, or u were scared as fuck, which one it is ?

" we're done here" indeed we are, dude cheating 20 times in a fight including major faults, and u say it aint significant
<36>

All good chief, I don't agree but I'm sure we have some fighters we both mutually like.

I don't have an idol, but if I did it wouldn't be Conor. It would be legendary Mirko Cro Cop, I'm sure we can both agree he's the man

I think it'll be just as one-sided as the Cowboy fight. Poirier is better than him, but it's about what he brings to the table. One is a hurtable non-wrestler, the other KO's such. I'd be surprised if this goes past the first round. 5 minutes is a very long time to survive.

Because before the Cerrone fight a lot of arguments were made for Cerrone to win. There are always ways, but the chances are slim.

It's nice to see Conor fight someone he should actually be fighting for a change and it'll be interesting to see how the career choices of each fighter pays off. Hard work and consistency vs dipping out for a long time sporadically. I wouldn't necessarily hate Conor winning, but if he goes out and Dustin just folds easily I'm gonna be pissed.

This right here. Conor showed good grappling and TDD against Khabib, but small positional mistakes cost him. I think in a rematch he can beat Khabib this time
You mean grabbing Khabib's shorts is having good take down defense?

Dustin can’t wrestle like that.

Style favours Conor massively. Can’t see any scenario where he doesn’t stop him.

Dustin is good but Conor is just better, more power, more accuracy and better chin

Hilarious to think that an Irishman, with no wrestling background, who spent almost the entire fight on his back, and couldn't even hurt Khabib with his strikes, has a snowball's chance in hell of beating the best combat grappled the sport has ever seen.

Conor McGregor will never in his life see the day he could whip one side of Khabib. Posting pictures of yourself flexing, after lifting weights, does not give you the absolute combat grappling acumen that Khabib Nurmagomedov has.

Conor's running his mouth now from the same vantage point that Khabib is retired.

Funny thing is, Conor even tried to grow a beard like Khabib <45>

He's also trying to be "a good sport" like Khabib is.

The truth is, Conor now hero-worships Khabib without having the sense to realize it <Moves>

All good friend, I believe Conor takes the rematch. But I'm not going to argue it, you have your thoughts and I have mine

I honestly don’t know who I’m actually picking to win. It’s a pretty even fight for the most part.

This is how I feel too. But then you look at the odds and Prorier is +205 under dog

I'm going to have a lot of money on DP come fight night. Already have a chunk in at opening at +180 as I thought odds would shift the other way. 50/50 fight that's giving 2:1 payout is the stuff of dreams (and sadness)

I am kidding, that was free <45>. Cro cop is the man indeed.

Peahead is gonna end up face down ass up once again

Agreed. Dustin has a small head and thin neck.

Although Conor never saw the day he could whip one side of Khabib Nurmagomedov, Dustin Poirier is not Khabib.

In exactly the opposite fashion of Khabib (who has a skull made of granite, and a thick neck), Dustin Poirier is fragile-faced and thin-necked.

Worse, Poirier doesn't have the fistic skill of McGregor, either.
Poirier is UNEQIPPED to compete with Conor in a fistfight, and he doesn't have the chin to absorb Conor's punches.

Finally, Poirier is not a good enough wrestler to dominate Conor on the ground, either.

In short, Dustin Poirier has no way to beat Conor McGregor. He's going to get his ass kicked.

Spamming takedowns would be a bad idea for Dustin, he doesn't have great wrestling or clinch. He should be working on using his striking to set up well timed takedowns.

Dustin looks to be a lot more durable at LW than he was at FW so if he can keep the striking relatively even his cardio and more well rounded skill set can win him the fight in the later rounds.

Poirier will be smart to make it extremely messy and not give any space to McGregor. Takedowns, clinch, pushing against the fence, sub attempts, elbows, making McG carry his weight. McGregs biggest weakness is his cardio, even moreso now with the added muscle. And when McGs arms are filled up with blood from the grappling he doesn't hit as hard or as fast.

Unfortunately Dustin will succumb despite having the tools to win. It's a matter of psychology. Once you lose to someone convincingly, it messes up your discipline. Fear, impatience overtakes the will. He will rush in and get wobbled early. And McG will make him pay dearly.

Tire him out until round 3 where he can finish him otherwise it’s who ever connects on the button first! I think Conor might go to sleep this time around and I know I’m going against the popular belief here but Dustin became more of a man physically and gained more experience so I’m going with him to finish the Irishman! Who is your pick?
No ...Conor will win...Dustin is on the take...Ufc will never book Conor in a real fight they need him to win...it will just look more convincing than the cowboy fight

His best shot is to out Connor against the femte and tire him out for 2 rounds , then start to get to work

I think he should spam leg kicks from range and work the clinch whenever Conor gets close enougg, especially in the early going.
Take away his base and make Conor pummell alot to tire out his shoulders.
