This is probably my favorite lift. I found this guy on youtube who does them with heavy ass weight. He also does other oldtime strongman lifts so if you're interested in that type of lifting check out his other videos.

Very impressive. I love watching (and doing) overhead DB lifts.

orly?

To what extent are you doing these? I only ask because it's rare that I come across anyone else who likes doing them as much as I do.

Do you also do the 2 dumbell clean and press/pushpress/jerk?

I usually do an overhead DB lift after pressing with a barbell. I've mainly done snatches, but clean and press as well. I'm no where close to the guy in the video; my best one armed snatch with a barbell is 105 and my best DB snatch is 90x3 (did that today).

My two DB pressing is limited to doing thrusters so far.

I'm assuming you've seen the vid of Rob Orlando pressing the Inch? Not bad at 225 lbs.

Wow. I just maxed out at 110 tonight and now I feel like a complete bitch. Awesome.

Also Brad Martin from the Diesel guys. Putting the inch overhead isn't bad, especially considering he only weighs 171 and the bell is 172.

And of course the kettlebell wonder; 200 pounds he's doing:

So what you're saying is he can pick me up and lift me above his head with one hand...................

Heaviest DB at my gym in Nash or the Y back home is 100lbs, but I love doin' C&P with that. Usually sets of three. Tryin' to work that in every other week. Haven't tried 2 dbs at once. I usually keep the DBs for unilateral work... Altough I guess I should try bilateral w 'em someitmes too.

i just started db snatches the other day, i was trying to incorporate db swings, 10 snatches followed by 10 swings to form a sortof circuit ... did it after some burpee work

totally kicked my ass,
