Dudes that Got Banged Out and Were Never The Same

Weidman. I just rewatched his fight with Rockhold recently and that was an absolute mauling. The damage he took was ridiculous. I'm a fan of his (although the fact that he had his rise amidst aging Brazilian stars is not lost on me) and I am quite sure Luke did damage to Chris that he'll never properly recover from. The beatings he took after that just add to the accumulated damage, and then the leg break? I cant believe he's still fighting.

Still my boy.

Chuck was never the same after this..

It's been years since I watched but wasn't he arguably winning until the dressed wheel kick that got him effortlessly taken down? Then the horrific gnp started.

There was a 155'r...can't remember his name but he was a short bearded guy who won his debut in brutal fashion, he looked like an absolute killer. After that I think he lost 4 in a row and I think all by finish. He bet on himself to win in his last ufc fight, lost and got cut
Justin “Guitar Hero” Jaynes?

Good one! Or what does it mean in fighting?

bang out (third-person singular simple present bangs out, present participle banging out, simple past and past participle banged out)

  1. (transitive, idiomatic) To do (something) quickly, in a slipshod, or unprofessional manner, especially performing or composing music or a piece of writing. quotations ▼
I've got this paper due tomorrow, but I think I can bang it out in one night.
The band were banging out a vaguely recognisable version of the Star Spangled Banner.

Ninja wasa shell of himself post kharitonov fight, not saying he would have the same success as shogun or wand, but if he didn't go into the hw tournament he probably would have enjoyed a longer and more successful career

Wanderlei got his chin cracked by hunt, and amazingly went the distance with a k-1 champ who had 90lbs on him. id say he beat cro cop as well in their first fight, but it was an automatic draw because it went the distance.

Wand was still able to get some high profile wins after the hunt fight, but his chin was gone.

those chute box guys were something else though in their day, no fear.

The damage Romero did was also pretty bad.
