Ratlip doesn’t stand a chance against Du plessis he was struggling with old Kamaru so badly that i believe hes already past his prime and gets knocked out badly. Hes mentally weak aswell and when Du plessis KTFO him i can see him retiring right away and if he does fight again he will lose. Hes one trick pony with terrible gas tank and dricus exposes him.

I don’t know if DDP will retire Khamzat, but what I do know is that many fighters from the Caucasus don’t handle losses very well. A lot of them retire after a loss, or sometimes even before if they feel an upcoming defeat is inevitable. (No, I’m not talking about Kabib, but more like Zabyt.)

So yes, if Khamzat loses, he might retire and I wouldn’t be shocked at all. His ego probably won’t be able to handle the loss, and he’ll likely convince himself that he’s retiring for reasons other than the pure fear of losing again and no longer being the tough guy he believes himself to be.

I never believed that. Sounds like a story made up by his parents so he wouldn't think that the great Allah or whatever the fuck created a defected human or something.

Or maybe so he wouldn't learn about cleft lip surgery and grow up never getting it because they couldn't afford it so instead it was just a freak accident and not much to do about it.

Or maybe to try to reduce potential bullying. If kids find out he was born like that they might be extra cruel compared to if he was just fooling around in a stairwell.

He wasn't mocking your son, but good for you defending him. I imagine a bunch of kids in financially poor upbringings get stories rather then cosmetic surgery.

My wife's friends adopted a girl with a cleft palate and I educated myself more about it since I only knew very little
