Drug Warning

I guess this is the place for this but anyway, I wanted to warn you guys about taking any kind of cold medicine (like aleve cold & sinus) with the drug pseudoephedrine in it. Apparently alot of people have had this happen to them, but over the weekend I took it and my heart-rate skyrocketed to 150 (normal adults should be around 60) and I had to be hospitialized because of it. And I just wanted to pass this warning along cuz like I said it happens frequently, and before it happened to me I had no idea there was any danger.

Do you have a heart condition? I take that stuff every time I get plugged up, it's the most effect antihistamine.

I haven't heard of anyone without some sort of condition having that happen with pseudoephedrine. unless you do some really wild workouts I wouldn't expect you to get your heart rate up that high. although that is one of the chemicals used to make meth it is normally safe in its unchanged state.

Yes, I had to wrestle guys, I went 52-0, but wasn't eligible for state championships cuz my matches were all viewed as "exhibitions".

LOL I love it when people don't read profiles. Anyhow, glad to actually have some female presence around here. The testosterone runs high, as I'm sure you can see. Anyhow, on the subject, I use this stuff on a daily basis because I have probably some of the worst sinuses on the planet. My heart-rate is slightly higher than normal as it is (resting about 70), so it doesn't do me any harm that I know of. However, I can say that it DOES have a history of having this effect.
