Media Dricus interview

"Trust me bro" is not a source.

A source is when a commission weighs a fighter on fight night on an official scale and then publishes it publicly.

We have no idea what Dricus weighs in the cage until that happens.

Whatever helps you sleep better at night. I never said "trust me bro". Don't make sh*t up because you are salty. I literally quoted what Dricus himself said he weighed in the first Strickland fight matching what I had read before on this forum of his fight night weight.

If you think Dricus is a liar (despite the fact that a monkey can see how big and muscular he looks in the Octagon matching the fact that he weighs at least, 215 lbs in the Octagon), that is your problem.

Friend, "trust me bro" means we don't take what a fighter says in an interview as a source.

If you think Dricus is a liar

We know from CSAC fighters have lied many times about their fight night weight / weight gain.

Further I would not calling it lying in an interview as fighters have no incentive to tell their competitors anything about their camp weight, weight cut or re-hydration amount.

For these reasons, its not a source if its not weighed and published by a commission.

Will Chicago release those fight night weights or they don't either? I am interested in seeing what they are.

My thought process is, if Khamzat beats Dricus and if Dricus was the bigger/heavier guy, it makes the victory more impressive.

If Dricus beats Khamzat, I would like to see how big the weight advantage was for Dricus. I know Adesanya said he weighed 208 lbs against Dricus so Dricus had a few pounds on Adesanya despite being a shorter.
