Dricus Du Plessis getting smoked like a blunt

Maybe, or maybe he gets chinned again.

He’s never really had to deal with a guy like Soldic at UFC middleweight, no one in his division has any real stopping power to threaten him with which is why he can get away with his sloppy style.

Soldic is kinda like a middleweight Ilia Topuria, you really can’t afford to make a mistake with him, and that Dricus style of lunging in might work against pillow fisted guys like Strickland but against a heavy hitter its just asking for trouble.

Due to their career trajectory, that will never be answeed since Soldic's career did not have the meteoric rise as it did for Dricus. He still fights in ONE after spending most of his career in KSW, but I doubt he will ever been good enough for UFC to offer him a contract. He is still only 30 so who knows? Dricus evolved and became the world champion of the top league. It was not like Dricus could not stand with Soldic. Dricus had finished Soldic in the 1st fight, but lost in the 2nd one. That does not mean he does not have a great chin since he has never been knocked out other than in this fight. Rubber match never happened, but I am sure if he ever became good enough to be in the UFC, Dricus has evolved far more into the champion he has become even during his UFC career, let alone before that.

What the fuck is a blunt? Can one snort it?
<JennieThumbsUp> go for it.
And don't let anybody tell you what you can't do

Grind it up, light it on fire and inhale that shit up your schnozz!

Back on topic:

Soldic is a wildman from what I have seen (the dricus fights and a highlight video) he is aggressive as fuck and highly entertaining.

If the UFC didn't suck balls at recruiting and acquiring talent from other orgs, he would be in the UFC already.

Are we just going to pretend that Soldic didn't get brutally knocked out and had to recently take two years to rehabilitate himself 🤷‍♀️

I always have to zoom in on your avatar to see what’s up, but damn. Kitty got me missing mine. Long story short, put her down with a 45. May yours live longer than mine, sincerely - Simp

Dricus is a weight cut bully, he has a at least +9 to +12 kg than his opponent when stepping in the cage, and that always helped him, though he is very good.

Robocop is a hard puncher, there is no shame losing to him.

Soldic is 99999999999999999999999999999999999999999999x better fighter than Adriano Martins

Seemed like Brunson (who was the best UFC MW wrestler for several years) struggled to get DDP down after the first few minutes of their fight

40 year old brunson beat the shit out of Homer until he was gassed, made him look like a bum dricus doesn’t even win that fight 3 years prior to when it happened

Watching those highlights makes me think Khamzat will sub him.

He simply has terrible TDD, it's like the elephant in the room that somehow Sherdog ignores. Even a gassed Khamzat will take him down at will. DDP is a great overall fighter and everything but this is simply not a competitive fight, it will be a steamrolling.

Shogun was a great fighter but he wasn't going to match up with Jones, period. Fitch was a great fighter but he had zero path to victory against GSP. Aldo wasn't going to outstrike prime Conor. Styles make fights, and especially when you're talking about a truly elite talent like Khamzat.

if DDP doesn't get absolutely steamrolled, you're gonna have some splainin to do

It's very bizarre how many still parrot the idea that Khamzat has 1 round of gas and if you don't lose that round he'll be an easy fighter to beat. Still both Burns and Usman took him to decision and lost and it's his biggest wins. Not only, overlooking the gas his opponents are spending to fight him off, but ignoring besides the injury with Usman fight. There's plenty of grappling footage where the guy goes 15+ minutes. People are going to be mad when Khamzat's a favorite when it gets booked.

if you think Khamzat is going to lose but Khamzat is the favorite, wouldn't they be happy? they're going to make a lot of money if they're right.

And?
What's bad about him making the right decision after a concussion in order to extend his career and life?

There's plenty of grappling footage where the guy goes 15+ minutes.

He slows down later in fights, this much is undeniable. He hasn't gone 25 minutes. That's still the biggest question mark of the fight, if Dricus survives the first two rounds does Khamzat have the gas to finish strong at 5?

If I can snort it or inject
THC isn't water soluble so the nasal mucose won't absorb it. Ideal methods are smoking (which carries a cancer risk), vaporising it (safe as long as you do it at milder temperatures) or melting the active principle in fat, like milk or butter or oil - the safest method if you don't overeat.

Guess it depends how big the "casual" umbella is.
If I can't snort it or inject it into my teeticles then I'm not interested pfffft!

He's definitely good enough to be in the UFC lol. Whether he'd be a title contender is up for debate but saying he's not good enough to even get in is a little ridiculous.

Yes, I already mentioned that if you actually read my post, Dricus was getting lit up and managed to catch him with a nice counter in the first fight then got dismantled in the rematch. In their two fights combined Soldic was the dominant fighter for the vast majority of the exchanges, he just has his number or at least did back then.
There 1 and 1 why can't you understand that?

Edit: I did in fact miss that part of your post which is why I quoted you in the first place, I'll eat that as my bad but you're still doing the good ol winning till they lost speal.

@Koro_11 is going to tell you how he was winning 99% until he got caught and it's not a true indication of who's better.

That's true, it's always hilarious how you'll see narratives crumble here. Before the fight you'll see the posters talk about how the odds are disrespectful, I always think of Olivera/Islam. Then after they cling to any :eek::eek::eek::eek: in the armor or bad performance like it's how they fight every time. When fight time comes the reality sets in. It's great.
