Dragon Ball vs Dragon Ball Z

As a kid I always thought DB looked boring and never got into it. Just started watching it and I'm on Season 4 (the tien season) and I got to say it's better then DBZ.

-Traditional Martial Arts
-Better humor
-More perverted
-Great cast

Only thing I didn't care for was the Red Ribbon Army Saga other then that it's been great.

Vegeta was 12-12-2 in my book. Not as bad as I expected. But he had a lot of can wins, Cui and Nappa as example. And not too many top ranked wins other than SSJ2 Goku but we learned Goku held back against him

Talent was never a problem for Vegeta. He just had no heart. He would crumble whenever it got tough.

Ya Gohan was my favorite in Z as well. I hated that he didnt become the badass he should have been

Just imagine all that time Goku was gone he kept training. I bet he would have been more powerful than Goku and Vegeta and reach SSJ3 much quicker.

Dragon Ball Z used to be my shit when I was younger, everyday after school, but when I go back and watch it now, it kinda ruins it for me.
 
Damn, thats a hard question. I grew up with both series when they re-ran them on the Canadian network for years. It's a tie for me.

My favorite parts are Late Dragon Ball - Early Dragon Ball Z

The characters weren't overly cartoony and silly, had interesting skill-sets and weren't overpowered gods yet.
 
Great shows enjoyed them both but anyone who says either is the best anime ever hasn't seen enough anime.
 
Only anime series I've ever watched(is it considered anime?) really liked it when I was a kid. Was more of a fan of Z though.
 
DragonBall Z is just AWESOME. You should definitely watch it.

DragonBall is also enjoyable. I thought it was funnier than Dragonball Z, Goku when he was a kid was hilarious.
 
A huge huge Dragonball Z fan. Vegeta, and Gohan up until Cell Saga, and Future Trunks were just bunch of badasses.
