Vegeta was 12-12-2 in my book. Not as bad as I expected. But he had a lot of can wins, Cui and Nappa as example. And not too many top ranked wins other than SSJ2 Goku but we learned Goku held back against him

LOL at the Vegeta fight finder. He was always my favorite. I thought he was going to kick Goku's ass when he was Majin Vegeta in the Buu Saga.

My favorite is the Cell Saga. The whole Cell Games was tight, and I like the whole ending to it, I'm not going to spoil anything lol.

And Chi Chi ruined Gohan's life. He could've been stronger than Goku and Vegeta if he had kept training. Fuck school and Videll, be a man Gohan.

Dragonball was frustrating to me because kid Goku lost like every tournament. Correct me if I'm wrong but I think he lost to roshi, tien and piccolo.

The worst was the hyping up of the next episode a the end of the Frieza saga episodes. Every week you'd swear it was the week Goku would go SSJ, fast forward to 8 episodes later when it finally happens lol.

If you can speak Spanish fluently, then Spanish. Otherwise just go with what you feel most comfortable with.

That's how I watch anime. If it sounds flawless in English (Ghost In The Shell, Cowboy Bebop, Claymore, etc.) no reason for the Japanese.

the thing is ive watched most anime (probably all with the except of 1 or 2) in japanese so i would be comfortable with both. im just looking for the opinion of people who have watched it in both and can give me some pros and cons

DBZ was the ultimate show for litte boys who dream'nt that they could power up infinitly and kill bad guys. I used to run around the neighborhood kamehama yaing everybody. It was awesome. But i also was dissapointed when gohan didnt turn into the baddest man in the universe. Anyways Mr SATAN was the true bad ass the whole time.

It's been such a long time that I don't remember most of DB. I guess in a way it can be seen as an amateur record, Raditz only had a power level of 1000 but was more powerful than anyone Goku fought in DB and even with the help of Picollo their combined power levels were still below Raditz. Then after that with more powerful enemies and SSJ it's not even comparable.

D is a bunch of kids looking for dragon balls and is way more humorous and light in the drama

DZ is close to the opposite. Very dramatic with less humor and more 30 minute stand offs explaining what each guy is thinking.

I've seen both in their entirety.

DBZ will always hold a special place in my heart. I remember waking up every Saturday morning to see where the Saiyan Saga would progress. It was completely awesome up until the Ginyu Saga (probably because of the long delay in releases and the transition from Ocean Group to Funimation). Later episodes were pretty cool too but I remember DBZ jumping the shark in the Buu Saga (granted I haven't seen it in years). All in all a fun series.

I got a chance to watch DB in it's entirety a few years ago. It's definitely the more cohesive, well thought out, and more fun of the two series. DB had a more continual storyline that added a new wrinkle with each saga. DBZ got redundant after a while (meet unstoppable threat, train to achieve new level, accomplish goal and defeat villain, repeat). Fun nonetheless, but redundant. I never felt that with DB.

What's funny is some of my favorite episodes of DBZ are the filler episodes/parts (Yamcha playing pro baseball, etc). It reminds us of when things are less serious and reminds me much more of DB. DBZ movies pwned the DB ones however.

The DBZ movies got repetitive after a while, too. I like the "DB-esque" ones to start off. "World's Strongest" and "Deadzone" fucking are cool.

I kind of think of them as how I would have wanted DBZ to have become as a continuation of DB.

The first three are definitely the best. World's Strongest and the Deadzone are my faves as well.
