Rewatch Dos Santos sending Mir to Mandalay Bay in round 1 then to KO in round 2

I was a fan but Mir had no business being in there against JDS. Was supposed to be Overeem’s shot before he popped

There was a fight recently (might have been boxing) where they asked a fighter if they knew where they were.

He said.... "In the desert"

(They were in Saudi I think, or UAE... )

I think it worked and the fight continued. Im not 100%
fight was stopped,Walker did not pass the concussion test
the doc in the JDS Mir fight maybe had a bet on Mir win so he allowed the fight to continue although Mir was already half KOd half in the Mandalay bay

Joe used to be a great commentator, listen to that.
JDS what a guy

It's impressive to me how articulate Mir continues to be for a guy who by all rights SHOULD have CTE.

Both Brock and Carwin, 290 ish pounds of pharmacy grade muscle each, bounced 3-5xl Fists off of his already unconscious dome for a not ingiñfiicant amount of time.

He took HARD KO Ls to Mark Hunt and Josh Barnettt, got knocked silly by JDS.

He should be where BJ is and yet he still seems pretty intelligent when he appears on podcasts.

Ciggie had the most astonishing HW run then. He was KOing everyone, including the champion then. He was extremely feared, much like Ngannou.
Not sure this is factual, but I think the fame and money got to his head. Then he started getting his ass kicked left and right. Making good money, he kept on fighting and losing for years. Maybe his downfall was leaving Nog.

Funny thing is, it was Cain who petered out after the trilogy. He lost to Werdum, beat Travis Browne then lost to Ngannou and was done. JDS fought 11 more times in the UFC and went 5-6.
I would say JDS petered out. Injuries snuffed Cain. But yeah, that is interesting.
