Dos Santos/Saint Denis Should Have Been Stopped

That was pretty bad actually despite the just bleed nature

Boxers routinely take 200 punches to the head, get dropped, get back up and take more punches to the head. This was nowhere even close to that.

Probably not a great example!

If that was boxing that fight would’ve definitely been stopped in the 2nd round. No doubt whatsoever! He wasn’t throwing anything back, had his hands down unable to defend himself, stumbling around the ring taking punishment.

Brutal, he should have stopped that man from a life-shortening beat-down.

Hell, after the ref failing to do his job, his fucking corner could have stepped in. Even at the bell just not let him return.

That being said, that Saint Denis dude is pretty good and would’ve won a different debut if he wasnt thrown to the wolves…

No. Those punches were WMMA level. You don't stop fight because of face damages.

Man this sport becoming soft because of casuals who demand to stop the fight after 1 punch...
Lol nice try, the "1 punch" thing was too obvious though.

I don't care, great fight. It's up to the doctor, ref or the corner to stop it........can Cormier and Felder just shut the fuck up, what a terrible commentary team!

Cormier I like, but something about Felder I never liked. Same thing with Dan Hardy. I would never wish for a man to lose his job, but fuck I was happy when the UFC said they were relieving him of his duties. I believe he's still with BT Sports, but I don't see any of their work so it's cool with me. Former fighters as commentators shows us a lot of bias in fights and almost a bit of ego when they talk. Anik leads the commentary group right now. Guy is so smooth and you can tell he really does a ton of research and prep leading up to his events.

He had his hands up and was throwing back. He was never out on his feet.
