Multiplat DOOM: The Dark Ages

As much as I love all things DOOM I was kind of hoping for a Quake reboot next from id Software. Oh well, here’s hoping for more greatness. And if I have one request it’s that they give us some regular death match for multiplayer. The original DOOM literally introduced fps multiplayer and death match. The fact that Doom Eternal didn’t have it was sacrilegious in my opinion.

I was hoping for a Quake reboot too but maybe they'll tackle that next.

I'm not sure how I feel about it. It doesn't feel very DOOM to me. It does look cool but I think this would have been better served as a Quake or Heretic game.

Bring back Heretic you cowards. I played through it about a year ago and it holds up amazingly well. Still fast, scary and tons of fun.

Actually preferred the movement in 2016 to Eternal so this looks awesome to me.

Only caught this yesterday but looks badass, agree with @Senzo Tanaka that it looks Hertic/Quake like. Makes me wonder what happened to their other game Graven?

Know Eternal was popular but I hated that game. You had to play the game the way they wanted you to to manage cooldowns and very limited ammo supply. Sorry not for me.

YES! my first entry into FPS after Wolfenstein. Loved that game so much. I'll take a new Hexen too.
