Matchup sounds like guaranteed fireworks imo

Stephens is pretty hittable so i'd give the edge to Choi, regardless it would be a great fight. Swanson as someone else suggested would also be a good fight but i'd be concerned that it's a pretty huge step up and Swanson probably deserves higher ranked fights.

Swanson is 1-2 in his last 3. Think he has to build some momentum up - which a fight against Choi wouldn't be all that much of a 'step down' for Swanson, imo. Because of Choi being South Korean/Asian, I think the UFC would like to build him up. I could see the UFC giving him someone like Dias next. Training partner of Aldo's and 'ranked' in the top 15.

Stephens has already lost 3 key fights at FW against Cub, Oliveira and Holloway. Even with the big win against Barao a fun action fight against a hyped prospect is perfectly fine

He's still ranked #8 in the division. Doesn't seem fair to me that someone beats some unranked then gets someone in top 10 right away. He should get someone ranked #12-15 first imo.

Make the fight. Stephens has repeatedly faltered against the top tier of the division on multiple occasions, if he wins this one, they can give him another chance.

He lost to Edgar and Holloway, those guys might be fighting for a title in NY if Edgar can win tonight and McGregor vacates.
