He is wrong, because CGI doesn't mean digital, it means a computer generated it and it's heavily implied that CGI is not real and the object doesn't exist.

The problem is the real time satellite feeds. Nothing can generate that level of footage in real time AND have it match up with the weather data / actual weather we experience on the ground. How do you think we know where hurricanes are, how large they are, and where they're headed? Just a lucky guess? Going even further, you can pull up old footage and weather data, from your own area, that you experienced yourself, and the clouds / weather / lack of clouds on the satellite imagery will match. FURTHERMORE you can intercept real time weather data from weather sats as they pass over you, there are how-to videos on what radio receiver setup you need, and it simply plugs in to a laptop, you tune to the correct radio frequency, and you receive a signal from overhead exactly when the satellite will be passing over. Block the receiver's view of the sky- no signal. Flat earth retards explanation for this is..... wait for it....

Balloons.
Tens of thousands of balloons that stay perfectly still (Geostationary) or move extremely fast on a fixed path, and we can't ever see them launched and when viewed through a telescope, they look like a satellite. Amazin!

Also, they will say GPS is from cell towers, but GPS works in the middle of the ocean where there is no cell reception. Oof! I can pick apart each flat earth retard claim and point out 10 things they'd never be able to explain, but that still won't work. Their tactic is to change the subject each time they are cornered, because they are dishonest and not interested in anything but what they already believe.

Obviously sarcasm, so I'm not addressing you, but the flat-tards forget that when doing a zero-G arc on an airplane (vomit comet), buoyancy suddenly forgets how to work, and people start floating. No, it was a university paper, but the gist of it is that there are people in cults that are well into the 99th percentile of intelligence. The issue and power of cults is the power of fundamentalism, this is why anyone is susceptible to cult control, humans have an innate draw towards fundamentalism. With the highly intelligent, one of their issues and why they are even more susceptible than stupid people is their acceptance of and willingness to try new things. Dumber people are usually more stuck in their ways.

Just anecdotally, I know 2 dudes who I'm pretty confidently think would score in the 99th percentile of intelligence, (if not, then very close), who, despite not having joined a cult per se, have definitely adopted cultish beliefs in which they've completely abandoned adherence to any sort of scientific method. (One even has a science background).

They'll jump from a wild hypothesis based solely on a "what if" to a conclusion that's just as wild, having skipped all the steps in between hypothesis and conclusion, utilizing that big brain of theirs to fill in the gaps with a story that fits their already determined conclusion. It's been both disheartening and fascinating to observe.

To get back on the thread topic, I don't think any of that applies to Mr Mitchell.
